Legitimacy Check
Once the OBP has completed the Information sections in the OBP portal they can launch a Legitimacy check:

The Legitimacy Check ensures that security procedures are in place by the OBP to ensure only users whose identity, role and legitimacy has been verified to allow them to connect to and upload data into EMVS.
In order to trigger the Legitimacy Check the OBP will need to submit the below form:

The Legitimacy Check process is performed by a supplier to EMVO called ETHIKOS.
On the OBP Portal Dashboard there is a section for Legitimacy Checks to view who is currently going through that approval process (OBP C number and names removed):

NOTE: The Creation Date is the date that the OBP submitted their Legitimacy check. If they have previously submitted a check and have had a response for 'Corrections Needed' they will need to re-submit the check and this date will reflect the NEW date of the submission. It is ONLY from this date that the 10 - 15 business day process for ETHIKOS to approve the check is set.
The Status of the requests are:

AVAILABLE - The Legitimacy Check has been submitted

IN PROGRESS - The Legitimacy check is currently in progress and should be completed within the 10-15 day timeframe unless there are Corrections needed
By clicking on the 'CHECK' button there can be signs on the progress and why this may be rejected:

Should there be any incorrect or missing information from the 'Provide Information' section in the OBP Portal the OBP SPOC will be sent an email stating that 'Corrections are needed'
When a submission for a Legitimacy Check is made the OBP is required to input their Marketing Authorisation Holder (MAH) information for at least one Product they will be uploading to EMVS.
NOTE: In certain circumstances where an OBP is in the process of obtaining their license and MAH Authorisation an OBP can be granted Temporary Legitimacy that allows them access to IQE only. In such circumstances please engage with EMVO to determine whether this is acceptable for the OBP.
If OBPs wants to proceed while waiting for their license, they need to write “Temporary N/A” on the missing MA fields, which will allow them to complete the form, Once temporary approved, they will be able to access the technical on-boarding, limited to the testing environment
Only when approved can an OBP then progress into the Technical On Boarding

TICKET ASSIGNMENT
Any tickets concerning the Legitimacy Check should be assigned to ETHIKOS, using the below procedure in MS Dynamics:
